Hey guys, good to see you all alive and still around, Limpy, Lego, Drift, Kurkobot, Kee and anyone else who is still about. =p
Been quite a while since I've seen you guys, apart from one of two I've seen on CSS and MW2 in your travels.
How have you all been?

Playing MW2 to vent frustration with the workplace but beginning to get a bit bored with it. Maybe bad company 2 in the near future so yeah, wte still going.

I'm good cheers, not gaming much myself because of University, so I'm only around on the weekends.
I play CSS, MW2 and I have preordered BC2. =]

I'm playing MW2, but not really bored of it since I'm still only a Prestige #1 Lvl 56 or something. Still can't believe I haven't got 25 kills for a nuke but then again I'm not a camping whore - plenty of AC-130 kills which does me

Aye, that was great fun when we're getting hammered, you pull out the nuke right at the end. Its been a while since I've played MW2 with you - what time you normally on?
Would've been great if you, others could too, recorded your run & posted it here to watch. You can get Fraps via torrent (mines paid for btw but helped me decide to buy it) and run it. If you've had moments of godliness online, you no longer have to tell us, we can now watch it. If you have trouble with choppiness, set the Affinity so Fraps only uses the last core/s.
You have to have lots n lots of spare HDD; ideally 200GB on a separate drive since it uses 4GB for 1min 40secs @60fps (more fps pushes the filesize up & it records the audio) because Fraps can't encode as its recording. Then use VirtualDub to edit & recode it (this vastly reduces the size & is very quick) so you can upload here or YouTube. You start with a HD 720p video of 331,874Kbps but this reduces to 13,399Kbps using VirtualDub so a 4GB Fraps files ends up recoded as a 170MB file (with Xvid compressor)... a 83% reduction with no loss in quality. You can put these aside and make a compilation using a video editing package to add the finishing touches - reduce the bitrate to a reasonable 4Mbps. Others might say use a camera phone but the quality is shocking.
