That was just a soundbite for Ati & they harped on quite a bit about Eyefinity - 1 screen is fine for me but fair play if you can afford x3 22"/24" screens. They didn't include any comparisons across the board in terms of gfx quality to see if there is much difference on the various Graphic Settings ingame in DX9/10/11.

DX11 shouldn't be a deal breaker on getting a new gfx card, simply save up a reasonable amount for a solid DX10 GPU. Save even more if you fancy DX11 GPU by being a late adopter to new tech, ie. when they release the 5990/5890 - it will make more sense once there are more games for DX11.
