Right click on any blank space on your desktop.
Click new from the menu and create a New Folder.
Rename the folder as follow: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

works on vista 32 bit as well.

basically makes an icon on the desktop that gives you access to every built in windows tool.

You can name it whatever you like, doesn't need to be godmode. And it's just a link to "all tasks" which is mainly meant for developers. Everything is apparently already there in the config panel, just not in one list. MS discourages the use of this and apparently it crashes some versions of windows.

My daft mate 'tried' this out on Vista x64 Ultimate (said he was bored) & his explorer locked up; SysRestore didn't work, or my various tricks using Ult. Boot CD. Anyhoo, it took me about 20mins to figure it out, it simply involved going into Command Prompt & entering the directories until you got to the Desktop where you have to remove the troublesome GodMode directory there by using rd then the full filename.

Its a clever trick if your boss/colleague uses x64 to muck things up as he won't know what to search for a wicked April fools but only if you really hate them

XL: Add a clear warning in 1st post NOT to use this on Vista x64 as reported by 2 other members.
